Salon 717 was opened by stylist Kellie Hossler in 2013 and is located at College Row on the picturesque campus of Franklin & Marshall. 717 is packed with talented stylists ready to help you achieve your beauty goals while you kick back and relax. This beautiful space was completely renovated in 2018 and currently offers all hair services, waxing, hair extensions, eyelash and brow services and positive vibes (and wine) in a laid back atmosphere. It is just steps from downtown with plenty of free and convenient parking and awesome neighbors you can check out while you visit. No pressure, no pretense. Kellie

Kellie takes a laid back approach to most everything and business ownership is no different. After realizing that the corporate salon setting wasn’t for her, she opened Salon 717 in January of 2013. Since then she has worked to create an atmosphere where guests and staff feel relaxed, supported and at home. Outside of doing hair, Kellie stays connected with community service organizations and enjoys the opportunity to lend her time and talent to whoever may need it. Kellie enjoys quality time with her husband and three kiddos, nature, & time with family & friends.

kayla

Kayla is our shop manager and front end coordinator. With extensive experience in the fast paced industry of restaurant and bar management, she brings the diverse knowledge and organization needed to keep our ship sailing smoothly. She can be found buzzing around the salon, always helping out and making sure everyone has a drink and is having a good time! To our Brides, Kayla is our coordinator and will make sure everything leading up to & the morning of your day goes smooth & your hype girl, always! Outside of work Kayla is a fur momma of 3 rescued pups & wife. Kayla loves seafood, traveling, concerts & experiences! You may catch her waiting tables at Square Mile or Union Station in the evenings!

kendl

Kendl has been a stylist since 2005. She has been with Salon 717 since day 1! Her strengths include creating multi tonal colors using various techniques of highlighting, natural/polished looks, layered/textured haircuts for short or long hair and formal styles. She enjoys keeping up with trends and being creative. Her personality is contagious and though quiet and humble about her work she is one of the best in the game. Outside of work, Kendl is a fur momma & a mom to an awesome musical talented 10th grader. She is a huge E A G L E S fan and loves cooking yummy food! Kendl and her family recently welcomed baby boy Cooper! She is currently on maternity leave until June/July of 2024.

Colin

Colin has been doing hair since 2008. He excels in funky fashion colors, bright blondes and short/creative haircuts. Actually, everything! Always up for a challenge, he enjoys taking on corrective colors and working hard to achieve each client’s personal hair goal. Colin is our Deva Curl trained specialist, and on the flip he gives a mean blowout. If you need bomb hair and excellent conversation to perk you up, this is your guy. Colin enjoys spending time with his wife & son, eats sleeps & breathes Disney, always up for a good bravo conversation or you may see him at the PA Renesance Fair!

DEVIN

Devin brings an effortless and refreshing vibe wherever she goes and it is reflected in her work behind the chair. She shines when it comes to foiling and balayage techniques. She also gives an amazing blowout and has a solid foundation in hair cutting! Devin enjoys staying educated on all the latest trends, techniques. Devin enjoys quality time with her family, friends, concerts and never passes up a good cocktail! You may also catch her at a 6am workout class! Devin also enjoys a good book and a good beach!

ALANNA

Alanna graduated from Empire Beauty School in 2021. Alanna joined our team in April of 2022. Alanna always had the passion for doing hair ever since she was a little girl! Making a client feel relaxed, confident and amazing inside and out is why she loves doing what she does! Alanna excels in dimensional blonding, lived in blonding, haircuts and flat iron styling! Outside of the salon, Alanna loves going to concerts, spending time with family & friends, traveling and always down for a good time! If there’s an opportunity she will throw on her boots & do a little line dancing!

kaitlyn

Kaitlyn has been a stylist since 2010 and excels in foil work, gray coverage color formulation, waxing and clipper cuts. She is hilarious and easy to talk to which has only added to her success in this industry. We all have our specialties but Kait is incredibly well rounded behind the chair. Kait is available Saturdays Only. You can catch Kait chasing her chickens or her kiddos in her yard! She loves spending time with her kids and doing all family things, and would never pass up a good meal from Olive Garden.

SEDONA

Sedona graduated beauty school in June of 2022. She excels in dimensional blondes, foiling, cutting and thrives off a good finishing style. Sedona has an infectious smile and super funny! In her free time she enjoys traveling to Florida, spending time with her boyfriend, friends, dog & family. You may catch Sedona at the latest concert or with the newest tik tok trending item. She is the baby of our family and we are so glad she joined our team September of 2023.
